journals should be in character, absolutely no underscores, numbers, or letters that do not appear in your character's full name. nicknames are okay within reason. application: have an ic post and an ooc contact post. backdate both. include enough info in your ooc post that we get a good idea of your character. if you do not have enough information, you may be rejected regardless of your examples. in your examples, please show your best writing. you must provide several narrative style updates for consideration. examples must be in a custom or a journal. no pms. lines and connections: we encourage all members to continually reach out in pbads and answer ads for lines. remember that even a few simple connections will encourage people to apply and dive in. there is no limit to the lines you may establish in pbads. multiple characters: no more than two characters. you must let us know when applying a second character who your primary character is.

activity requirements

activity: to be cleared for activity each months members must supply links to one of the following options: 1) journal update - narratives, in-depth mixed media updates and first person entries will all count toward your monthly update activity. we currently do not have a word count but we ask that you use your best judgement. 2) two interactive posts - instagram updates, playlists, lyric and general question posts in the subcommunity will count as an interactive post. if you are forgoing a formal update, please prepare to post twice during the month. removals: we will do removals on the first of every month. these removals will include anyone that has not met the above activity requirements. if your friends list is out of date 10+ days you will be removed without warning. if you will be gone for over 7 days we suggest you take a hiatus so that you don't get lumped in with these removals. if we feel it's necessary, we will hold activity checks every so often just to clear the dead weight.

we don't want to snuff out all activity ideas but we are saying absolutely no wire here at altitude. not everyone can use it, not everyone wants to and it creates a divide between the people that can and the people that can't. you have many options in pbads if you'd like to incorporate wire into your experience and we suggest you go there for that. we will compromise and allow movie nights, chats and plug dj once every week or two at the most. we don't want to see these off site activities happening daily or even every other day.
